Frequently asked about Category A

Direct entry at 24 only makes sense if you haven't done anything motorcycle-related so far and don't want to ride earlier. Anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle from 18 should get A2 - upgrading after 2 years is cheaper than going straight for A.

Theory is done together - that saves 12 double lessons. Practice is separate. We recommend starting with B and beginning the motorcycle training a few weeks later, so you don't have both practical tests in the same block.

We lend helmets and gloves for the first lessons. Sturdy footwear (ankle-high) and sturdy trousers you need to bring yourself. At the latest for the practical test, you'll need your own motorcycle jacket with protectors.
